Reflections, Encouragements, Inspirations- Thoughts worth Pondering
-----------------------------------------------------------------"It's a Wonderful Life", "Life is Beautiful" , "Fried Green Tomatoes" and "The Blind Side" are my favorite movies, and once when describing them to a friend, I realized that they have a similar theme. We have the incredible power to enrich other people's lives. It can be a smile, a small gesture and even a Facebook post.
Once online, I saw a comment that revealed a person's desperate, frustrating plea for help from God. I wrote her a message saying God is with you, and that people care about you. I related the story of my house fire and how I felt that it would never be the same for me again. Remarkably, she wrote back and a friendship developed between us. We send each other posts of encouragement and laughter.
Incredibly, I haven't wrote a stranger before that or since, but I'm very happy for my new friend.
